Dear Sir

We purchased a Bailey Approach Autograph 740 from your company in September last year and have found it a very comfortable motorhome to live in. Unfortunately, our particular model has had countless faults ranging from minor irritations through to major problems such as the Alde heating mal-functioning and an unreliable refrigerator. This has caused us a great deal of distress and frustration, although perhaps most disappointing is that our confidence in the vehicle has been undermined.

As a result of the above we have had the inconvenience of having to make several return journeys to your workshops, no mean feat when we live in West Cornwall, with the associated cost of fuel and camp sites. However our reason for writing is to commend the service we have received, particularly from Liz Morse. She is efficient and unflappable under pressure – which we have witnessed when checking the van in first thing in the morning along with many others, when there have been requests to add extra jobs to the original booking, courtesy cars to explain, driving licences to photograph and insurance paperwork to complete, all accompanied by a constantly ringing phone! This she manages to achieve in a calm and polite manner and with a welcome sense of humour. From a purely personal point of view we also have to be grateful for her being so determined and effective, especially when dealing with a less than efficient Dometic team, resulting in the long overdue replacement of our faulty refrigerator last week.

We very much hope you appreciate what an important part Liz plays in your after sales service; she is indeed friendly, helpful and sympathetic ear of the department. We also want to express our thanks to your workshop technicians, each of whom we dealt with were friendly and courteous and at pains to explain exactly what work had been carried out and in one particular instance (I think it was Tim) went the extra mile to spare us further inconvenience.

This is the third vehicle we have purchased from your company and it is unfortunate that we have suffered such a frustrating year, especially since we feel one or two of the minor faults should have been identified during the PDI, but that aside we have always recommended West Country Motorhomes and will continue to do so.

Yours Faithfully

Mrs A Walklett
